Peter joined Knoke & Ingebritsen Law Offices in February 2009 as an intern, and then full time in June 2010 as an associate and became partner in 2014. His practice areas primarily include family law, personal injury, criminal, and estate planning and probate.
Peter grew up in Waukesha, WI. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Computer Science, Peter joined the United States Navy receiving his officer’s commission in January 1985. For the next 22 years, Peter was a Naval Aviator, flying aircrafts including the A6E Intruder, F/A-18C Hornet and the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. He completed his Masters of Science in Aviation Systems from the University of Tennessee. Peter’s Naval career awards include the Distinguished Flying Cross, six Air Medals, Navy Commendation Medal all with Combat V and three Meritorious Service Medals.
After retiring from the United States Navy, Peter attended law school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison graduating with honors in June 2010. He is licensed in the State of Wisconsin and admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin and the Seventh Circle Court of Appeals. Peter has been married for 33 years and has three children and one grandson.
